BMHA Award Nominations are Now Open

Players, coaches, managers and volunteers make Burnaby Minor Hockey Association a positive and memorable place to play.

Now’s your chance to recognize them.

BMHA is accepting nominations for our annual awards, including:

Player & Goaltender Awards

  • Gary Boyle Memorial Award – Sportsmanship, Character & Hockey Ability
  • Alfred Balfry Memorial Award – Team Play, Character, Sportsmanship & Hockey Ability (Two Grade 12 awards: one U18A and one U18C – $1,000 bursary each)
  • Most Valuable Rep Goaltender
  • Jack Gilroy Award – Most Outstanding U11C Goaltender
  • Terry MacLean Memorial Award – Most Valuable House Goaltender

Association Awards

  • Don Boyd Memorial Award – Service to the Association
  • Tony Marzitelli Memorial Award – Manager of the Year
  • Safety Award – In Memory of Kelly Miles – Safety Leadership
  • Rep Coach of the Year
  • House Coach of the Year
  • *NEW* Outstanding New Coach Award – For coaches in their First 1-3 Years
