BMHA – RETURN TO HOCKEY PLAN
The BMHA Executive would like to thank you all for your patience and support while we work diligently behind the scenes to prepare a safe plan to return to hockey. There are a lot of moving parts that need to come together to make this happen. The safety of all our participants and their families is our top priority and key to the planning and carrying out the 2020 season plan. These decisions involve coordination from Hockey Canada, BC Hockey, Viasport, PCAHA, and the City of Burnaby.
We are pleased to share with our members Burnaby Minor Hockey Association’s Return to Hockey Plan. BMHA’s Return to Hockey Plan is a living document and will be revised as required. The protocols and procedures described in this plan will help reduce risk and permit our children to play the game they love – we need your full cooperation with this plan to help make this happen.
Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA) has also been hard at work to create a plan to form the shape of the 2020/21 season for all MHAs to follow and create fair competition amongst all MHAs. To see what is planned for this coming year, please visit the PCAHA website. Please also view the PCAHA “Return-to-Play Plan posted August 14 2020.
All the latest information will be made available on www.burnabyminor.com/covid-19.
Thank you for all your support during this time and we look forward to seeing the players on the ice soon!
