JUNIOR MENTOR PROGRAM
The BMHA Junior Mentor Program gives past and present Bulldogs the chance to give back to the game, build leadership skills, and support the next generation of players. Junior Mentors are paired with BMHA teams or Development (Dev) sessions, helping on the ice, on the bench, and at team activities — all under the guidance of certified coaches and development leads.
This program not only benefits younger players through extra support and encouragement, it also provides mentors with valuable volunteer experience and leadership development they can carry with them beyond the rink.

Next Steps in Coaching
For those mentors who wish to take the next step in their hockey journey, BMHA will support opportunities to pursue official coaching courses. Mentors interested in this pathway are encouraged to connect with the Director of Hockey Operations to discuss available courses and how BMHA can assist in helping them transition from mentoring to certified coaching roles.
