MICROHOCKEY

Our Microhockey program offers a casual hockey program to interested kids between the ages of 6-12 years old (before December 31).

Based on the concepts of Pond Hockey, kids are split into teams and play a free-flowing game of hockey – no scores are kept, no refs*, and no pressure! Designed to be focused on fun, kids are allowed to be creative on the ice and gain skills through some basic instruction but mostly in game situations.

*There will be adult supervision present & watching over the games.

With ice times at the same time & location each week, this program is focused on kids who have graduated from Canadian Tire First Shift or who want to play hockey on a more casual basis (less commitment than a regular BMHA team).  It can also be a stepping stone to graduate to a BMHA hockey team from the First Shift program.
